S2 Week 2
Mohammed: The general direction of the project has lead to a more on hands goal in developing a functioning prototype. As with the Motor group we went ahead and focused on making the motor simply work on command through possibly a physical switch or keystroke. Using what we had at hand a new method was shown to us by our Professor Dr. Kim, which overridden most of the development into future improvements that can mobilize the motor. This will be done my using commands via a computer with access to the Motor controller on hand that is shown on the image below.
Natalie: Originally we did not have the aluminum TT with us on campus last Wednesday and so that is why we didn't start cutting then. Chris and I attempted to cut a few times, but the shop was closed when we went so our planning was a bit poor. However, we were able to make some significant cuts in the TT on 1/25/2021 and today in class we will make the holes in the TT for the adjustability aspect. We were able to do some design planning though for once we have all the cuts finished on the connection location to the knee braces without inhibiting the adjustability.
